Data Collection Dashboards

Data collection dashboards visualise the data collected through the corresponding data collection.

  1. To set these filters, go into the settings of the data collection and go to the filter tab.

2. Click on “Filters”:

3. Here select the filters you wish to add. Click on the green + button to add a filter.

4. Add the name for your filter.

5. The “Type” and “Data Collection" will fill automatically in a data collection dashboard. In global dashboard you will need to enter them manually. The section about global dashboards will cover this in detail.

6. The “Path” will point the filter to the topic of your filter. In the example the filter added will allow you to filter the data according to the governorates you are interested in in.

7. To select the path, click on the button in the path field and select the item you want to filter for.

8. Always select the top of the drop down menu and not all the way down to the “name” part.

NOTE: Nico, I don’t remember why, can you expand on this?

9. Click on apply, and then save.

10. Go back to the dashboard and click on the “Filter” button on the top right and select the items you want to filter for. In this example you can select one or multiple items (i.e.: Governorates) to filter for. Click apply to apply the filter to your dashboard.

11. On the top left you will see the filter(s) that is/are currently active on your dashboard. You can add multiple filters at the same time.

12. By clicking the x next to the filter you can deselect the filter for the dashboard to see the unfiltered data.
