On this page you will find instructions on how to set up the Table view of a data collection.
The Table tab allows you to configure the table in the view Data of a data collection.
Name | Function |
---|---|
Default Sort | Property of data collection which is used as default for sorting. |
Sort direction | Direction for the default sorting |
ASC | Ascending |
DESC | Descending |
Wrap Table Headers | Enables / Disables wrapping of table headers |
View columns | View columns that show data from referenced data collections |
Add view column
If the data collection you are configurating is referencing another already existing data collection, it is possible to display this reference in the table in the Data View.
For example, if the data collection “School” references a data collection “District” which references a data collection “Province”, then a view column “Province” can be added in the data collection “School”.
A reference can be created by configurating a selection question that points to another data collection. Click here for instructions on how to set up a selection question.
To add a new View Column,
click on the Add Button
specify the name and the path of the property of a data collection.
