How to Configure a Result Model

On this page, you will find instructions on how to configure a Result Model.

The Result Model must first be created in the system settings Models. Follow the link to the instructions.

There are two ways of how the Result Model can be configured and viewed in the MIS tool:

In any way the changes will be displayed in both the Result Dashboard and the Result Model.

Result Dashboard

To add a result to the Result Dashboard,

  1. click on the Add Result Button

     

  2. and insert the result information.

In the Custom Fields tab, you can further specify the organisation that are connected to the result.

Result Model

In the Result Model tab, you see a visualization of the results and their corresponding levels. You can download the entire visualization as a .PNG file using the button with the screenshot icon.

Via the Additional Settings Button, you can enable or disable visualization features such as the levels, connector labels and badges.

To visualize a Result Model, including results, levels ot results and other information to be included, the following items can be used:

  • results are visualized via text boxes

  • result levels are visualized by separator lines on the dashbord

  • rectangles can be used to delineate or highlight certain parts in the results model. Rectangles can be named, but no text can be added to the rectangles.

  • connectors or links between results are visualized through arrows

To open the Result Model Editor,

  1. click on the Edit Button.

     

  2. To create new elements to the Result Model, click on the Add Button and select either a result, a result level or a rectangle.

  3. Use drag-and-drop to move the elements. All elements can be moved freely on the dashboards.

Edit a Result Level

Edit the Result Levels by

  1. clicking on the display name and

  2. configruating the settings in the Result Level Editor.

Height of result level in px. This can be left blank and the heigth of the result level is generated automatically.

Edit a Result

 

To edit the setting of a result,

  1. click on Edit Button and insert the result information.

By clickling on the Indicator Button, you can see all the indicators that are connected to this result.

In case there are more than one result model in the MIS, you can create links to connect results to each other. For example, when the same result is part of two result models.

  1. Click on the Link Button to see all the connected results of different result models.

  2. Via the Add Button you can select a corresponding result.

 

Shape

A Shape or a rectangle is used to cluster results.

Change the Border Color, Border Style, Border Width and Border Radius by clicking on the corresponding button.
