Creating and Editing a User

On this page you will find instruction on how to create and edit users.

The tab Users in the User Mangement provides a list with all users that are entered in the system.

To add a user to the MIS

  1. click on the Add Button

  2. fill out the Edit User Dialogue and

  3. click Save.

If you want to edit an already existing user

  1. click on the user you with to edit

  2. adjust the profile in the Edit User Dialogue and

  3. click Save.

Username (mandatory)

Username, usally the first letter of the first name and the whole last name (e.g the username for Max Mustermann would be mmustermann)

E-Mail (mandatory)

E-mail of the user

First Name (mandatory)

First name of the user

Last Name (mandatory)

Last name of the user

New Password (mandatory)

Initialisation password

Enabled

Enables/ Disables access to the MIS system

Groups (multiselect)

Dropdown of all available user groups to be assigend to the user. The roles that correspond to the user group will be displayed as grey check marks under the section Roles and can not be disabled.

If multiple user groups are select, the corresponding roles will add up.

Roles

Check marks of the assigned user roles. All roles besides those assigned by the user groups can be enabled and disabled.

Update Password

Administrators can reset passwords for users
