On this page you will find instruction on how to set up the Layout of a data collection.
Via the Layout tab you can configure the Data View of the data collection. By default, the table view of the submissions is set.
Click on any flag to enable or disable the corresponding Data View.

Name | Description |

Dashboard Enabled | Enables the Dashboard tab in the data view |
Import Enabled | Enables the Import tab in the data view |
Synchronisation Enabled | Enables the Synchronisation tab in the data view |
Documents Enabled | Enables the Documents tab in the data view |
Gallery Enabled | Enables the Gallery tab in the data view |
Edit type | Type of display used for editing the submissions of the data collection (see screenshot below) |
→ Dialog (Default) | Pop-up of the template in a dialogue window |
→ Detail | Pop-up of the template next to the data table in the data view. |
Edit size | Allows you to define the size of the display. |
Data Entry Mode | Allows you to choose between two data entry modes. |
→ Default | User can navigate the data entry form using the form tabs and save the form on any tab (if no validation errors appear). |
→ Wizard | User is guided through the different tabs with Next/Previous buttons and saving the form is enabled only on the last tab. An additional configuration is to define whether each tab will be validated before moving to the next one or if the validation will take place on the last tab after clicking Save. |
